2 Million Reasons from the Master

If there is only one person that I would really like to be, it is definitely Stephen Fry. Being the Lord of Dance, Prince of Swimwear and blogger among many things, he is a wizard of words; written and spoken.

I have just read his latest post celebrating his 2 millionth follower (yes, that is correct; 2,000,000) in Twitter, in addition to being a gift to @mobijack, the lucky twitterer. But things were not so smooth for Jack, especially after seeing the opening paragraph:

Dear @mobijack

“Eat shit, a hundred billion flies can’t be wrong,” the old graffito used to say. “Follow Stephen, two million tweeters can’t be wrong,” I say.

Poor Jonathan admits he hesitated to click after those words and yet Fry just twists and turns the story. He not only gives us a lesson about literary style, but also manages to entertain us all; with a complimentary hug for the lucky follower. Go read it.
