Time Takes its Toll

It's been a while since I posted due to a sickness that literally pinned me down in my bed. Coming back is not so easy. Log of Archiver was a mess: I tried so many things, tweaked my way around to such a degree that I was unable to remove a widget; everything had to be done by editing the HTML. It was an indicator to a new template with zero widgets floating around. I have just done that (a few previous posts may not work, though, but I'll look into it).

Keeping an Off-line Blog

Since 2006 I have been keeping an off-line blog, using it sort of like a diary (one of many advantages of using Linux; an environment that works out of the box with a web server, PHP, etc.). Unlike many, I usually keep my thoughts, projects, ideas, etc as blog posts. This way, they are easily searchable, hyper-linked, can have embedded content (I particularly like this feature. You can access all your favorite videos, music and whatnot effortlessly), so and so forth.

Sir John Maddox, the editor emeritus of the Nature magazine, died at 83 in  Abergavenny, Wales, on April 13, 2009. He was the driving and often relentless force behind, in turning the British journal into an internationally influential showcase for the most recent developments in scientific research. A fierce proponent of reason, rationalism, and science-based thinking, he ran the best publication of its kind in the world and gave those in his orbit permission to be great.[1] He had once said:

Getting in Touch

Sometimes the comments section is simply not enough. Some of us are shy, a few can have a private and/or personal request or two, spammers may have an itch, I do not know. If you really think this is the case, you are reading the right post, excluding spammers, of course.
